Studio Study, 2019

from Praise Dances

Studio Study was created purely as an exercise for filmmakerJack Sorokin and I to start getting to know each other. After filming a duet from my series of Praise Dances, we became interested in how the changing light in the studio influenced the mood of the footage. We played with inter-splicing two very different tones of light, shifting between melancholy and hope.
